The short version

We collect the minimum needed to run Mirage: your Google account basics, the demos you create, and simple view counts on published demos. We do not sell your data, we do not run ad trackers, and your unpublished work stays on your own device.

1. What we collect

When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. During onboarding you can tell us your product name, website, brand color, and goals; we use these only to personalize your workspace and new demos.

2. Where your data lives

Mirage is local-first. Draft demos and captures are stored in your browser on your device, scoped to your account. When you publish a demo, a snapshot of it, along with your view statistics and onboarding profile, is stored on Cloudflare R2 so your share links and analytics work everywhere.

3. Demo viewers

People who watch a published demo are not asked to sign in. We count anonymous events like views, completions, and how far viewers get, with no profiles built on them. If a viewer chooses to submit their email through a lead form, that email is shared with the demo's owner and nobody else.

4. The Chrome extension

The Mirage Capture extension records screens only while you are actively recording, and only on the tab you are recording. Captures are held locally by the extension until you choose to send them to your Mirage account or export them. It does not track your browsing.

5. What we never do

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. We do not read your demos for anything other than storing and serving them.

6. Services we rely on

Google Firebase handles sign-in. Cloudflare hosts the app and stores published data. When billing launches, Dodo Payments will process payments; we never see your card details. Each of these providers has its own privacy policy.

7. Deleting your data

You can delete individual demos anytime, unpublish demos to remove them from our servers, and use "Delete local data" in Settings to wipe this device. To remove your account and everything tied to it, email us and we will take care of it promptly.

8. Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will tell you by email or inside the app before the change takes effect.

9. Contact

Privacy questions or deletion requests: help@anukar.tech. A human reads every email.
